Yes, the house looks like a whirlwind just blew through...it's called having a 13 month old at home for a weekend! The little man's in bed now so we were able to accomplish some much needed organizing.
Last week was Nick's 12 month appointment (I know...a month late). We learned that he weighs 22 pounds 5 ounces (slightly below 50th percentile), is 30.5 inches tall (50th percentile) and his head measurement places him in the 25th percentile. So it seems that he's growing perfectly! He only got the MMR shot (instead of the three or four he was supposed to get) which means that we'll be going back in 6 weeks for another one or two. Call me paranoid, but I just don't feel comfortable with giving all of those shots at once. Luckily my pediatrician was fine with it, perhaps because I'm not refusing shots and just delaying them ever so slightly.
We visited a friend's house today and enjoyed a lazy day in the (heated!) pool. I think he really liked it, though I wish we got a better picture!
