Two months

It's so hard to believe that Nick has been with us for 2 months...it seems like just yesterday that he arrived! We had his 2 month appointment today. Nick weighs 11 lbs, 4 oz which keeps him in the 50th percentile, and is 23.5 inches long which moves him down to the 60th percentile. All in all, a very average healthy baby!

Two things that the doctor mentioned: 1) We need to have him spend more time on his tummy each day in order to keep him on track developmentally - she said he needs to be on his stomach at least 10 minutes, 10 times a day! That's a huge increase from the amount of time he now spends on his stomach. 2) She thinks that his head is "misshapen" (yes, that's the word she used...you can imagine my voice when I replied, "WHAT?!!"). She thinks that the right side of his head is indented. The strange thing is, he sleeps on his left side? Andrew and I think she's wrong and that his hair was throwing her off. But take a look at his noggin' the next time you see him and let us know what you think!
