Early Father's Day Gift!

I am thrilled to announce some fantastic news about my dad! As many of you know, my dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a particularly aggressive brain tumor (and actually the same thing that Ted Kennedy was just diagnosed with) in July of last year. So the past year has been filled with surgeries, chemo, radiation, hospitalizations, etc. Well, today at his 2 month post-surgery checkup the doctor used the most unexpected word to describe my dad's current cancer status..."REMISSION"!!!!!!!!!

I can't thank all of you enough for all of the prayers and get-well wishes that you have sent my dad over the past year. Please continue to pray for him and that this remission sticks!
