Next is a pic of the almost finished crib. I've put the bumper up for now but I'm thinking that I'm going to use the breathable mesh bumper that's on my registry. The American Academy of Pediatrics published a recent study that shows that the traditional plush bumpers are hazardous to babies (can contribute to SIDS or smothering).
Here's a shot of our bookcase & dresser...it's messy because I had to pull everything out of the closet. Charlie & Tyler (my old boss's husband & son) are coming over to help Andrew install a new closet organizer while Michael (their other son) and I will supervise/watch tv, LOL!
I also had to move all of the clothes that were hanging in the closet to our spare room's closet. He IS a boy so he doesn't need an extensive wardrobe like a girl, you know?!
Next is our stash of diapers. All of the packages on the right are size 2 (12-16 pounds) and the package at the left is 8-12 pounds. We're also going to pick up a pack of Newborn diapers just in case he weighs less than 8 pounds.
We still have a lot to do, but we're getting there! :)

Hey there. I have finally seen you with a BIG belly. How are you feeling? Baby Kreiner will arrive very soon and it looks as though you are prepared. I was reading Chris's page and saw that Charlie was helping Andrew with closets, very nice. I still think about her a lot and I will be thinking of you in the next few weeks. My very best to the three of you!!
