16 weeks!

What a wild ride we have had so far. But my doctor said that she isn't worried so I'm going to do my best to relax and not worry either. She gave me a surprise ultrasound at my appointment yesterday and the baby looks great! It has really loooong legs and arms - this is going to be a tall child! Our next appointment is scheduled for December 17th (my 30th birthday!) at 9:30 am...and this will be for our BIG ultrasound where we hopefully find out if we're expecting a little girl or boy.

In the meantime, I'm trying to keep on the 5 pounds that I gained over the Thanksgiving holiday. This means 3 breakfasts, a lunch, 2 afternoon snacks, a dinner, and 2 evening snacks. Even with all of this food, I'm barely maintaining! I guess I won't be complaining when I'm 30 pounds heavier but for now...this is hard work!
